Induction stove

In induction cooker, heat produced due to electromagnetic induction . There is an induction coil placed just below the top of the induction cooker . When alternating current is passed through this induction coil,a magnetic field is produced around it.When any ferro magnetic material like steel vessel is kept on the top of the induction cooker,it produce eddy current in the vessel itself .Due to the resistivity of the metal ,when current passing through it will produce heat energy .This heat can be used for cooking .The disadvantage of induction cooker is that vessels which are non ferro magnetic metals like copper ,aluminum etc.cannot be used..
